Chicken Manchurian Recipe

Today we are going to make Chicken Manchurian Recipe which is made from boneless chicken pieces. Its taste is very different like a Chinese dish, so let's know about ingredients used in Chicken Manchurian and method of preparation and now easily make it at home.

Ingredients:- Ingredients used to prepare Chicken Manchurian Recipe

  • Chicken - 500 grams
  • Maida - 1 tbsp
  • Corn Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Eggs -2
  • Capsicum - 1 chilli (cut into cubes)
  • Carrot-1 (cut into slices)
  • Onion-2 (cut into layers)
  • Ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
  • Garlic cloves -4 -5 (finely chopped)
  • Green chili - 6 (finely chopped)
  • Black pepper - 2 tsp tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Green Coriander - 2 tbsp
  • Oil - as required
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cooking Time-60 Minutes
  • Serves - 4

Method:- How to cook Chicken Manchurian

  • To make Chicken Manchurian recipe, we need boneless chicken or leg piece of chicken. First clean the boneless chicken by washing it well and remove all the extra water from it.
  • And then add corn flour in a bowl, flour, black pepper powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste and break two eggs. And add half a cup of hot water and beat it well.
  • And when everything is mixed well, put the chicken in this solution and  mix it well. Then heat a pan and put oil in it when the oil becomes hot put the chicken it and fry it. Bring the flame to medium. Deep fry it. Fry it till it becomes golden brown.
  • Now put 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and heat the oil, as soon as the oil becomes hot, add finely chopped green chillies, ginger, garlic and fry them till these becomes brown. Keep the flame of the gas on medium and add onion, carrot, capsicum and fry it for 5 minutes.
  • And now add one tea-spoon of black pepper and, cornflour and soya, tomato sauce and mix it well and cook for a minute by adding half a cup of water. And now add fried chicken pieces and mix them well and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • And after cooling down for a while, garnish with onions, cabbage, which is thinly sliced, and eat roti, paratha, fried rice, naan, noodles or such thing. Now our Chicken Manchurian Recipe is ready.

Note :- Care taken in cooking Chicken Manchurian 

  • Chicken Manchurian Recipe is dry and many people like to eat it dry. But if you want, you can also prepare it in gravy because many people prefer it with gravy.
  • To prepare gravy, mix the cornflour well in little water, mix the solution well, otherwise the corn flour will soon become lumpy, now boil this water well and mix it in Chicken Manchurian Recipe.
  • But pay attention that the amount of water is not much, Chicken Manchurian is a preparation of light gravy, people like to eat it dry.
