Shahi Paneer Recipe
Shahi Paneer is a Punjabi dish. It is a very creamy and sweet and salty in taste. And being Punjabi dish means lots of ghee, butter, curd, milk. Shahi Paneer is also very easy to prepare and Shahi Paneer is prepared quickly as compared to other dishes. So let's know about the ingredients and method of making Shahi paneer.

- Paneer -250 grams
- Onion-2
- Tomato-1
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic -8-10 kale
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Red chili - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Powder -1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
- Cashew -5 -7
- Fresh Cream - 2 tsp
- Curd - 2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Sugar -1/2 tsp
- Oil or Ghee - 2 tsp
- Whole garam masala
- Cumin - 1 pinch
- Bay leaf-1
- Green cardamom -2
- Big cardamom-1
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Cloves -2 -3
- Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp

Instructions :- How To Make Shahi Paneer Recipe
- To prepare Shahi Paneer , first of all, cut the paneer into one-inch cubes and prepare separate paste of onion, tomato, ginger-garlic after washing them well.
- By the time the paste is being made, keep a pan on the gas on medium flame and heat it, now along with our paste, our kadhai has also become hot, so now add oil to the pan and heat it when the oil becomes hot add bay leaves and cumin seeds. Then add whole garam masalas like cloves, green and big cardamom, add a piece of cinnamon and fry it for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Then add onion paste and salt and fry for 2 to 3 minutes, when the color of onion becomes light pink, add ginger garlic paste. Then add cashew paste and fry it for 1 minute . Then add tomato paste and fry for 3 minutes.
- And now add dry spices like turmeric, red chili, coriander powder and half cup of water and cook the spices for 2 minutes. After this turn off the gas and cool the spices.
- And when the spices cool down, put them in a mixer grinder and prepare a smooth paste, now after putting the paste in the pan, add garam masala and add half a cup of water and cook for two minutes.
- After this, add the paneer pieces and sugar, curd and cook it on medium flame for 5 minutes and after 5 minutes turn off the gas and sprinkle the kasuri methi on it. Our Shahi Paneer Recipe is ready now, you can serve it with roti, paratha, or tandoori naan.
Notes:- Things to keep in mind while preparing Shahi Paneer
- In Shahi Paneer recipe, raw paneer is used. Paneer is not fried.
- Fresh curd and cream is used, curd should not be sour at all, you can also use Shahi Paneer Masala in Shahi Paneer. It is easily available in the market.
- If you want, you can also separate the whole standing garam masala which was added before making the paste. Because if the garam masala is not ground well then the paste does not become smooth and the strands of bay leaves and big cardamom are visible in the gravy.
