How To Make Malpua (using fine flour)

  1. Put sugar in milk, stir it properly and leave for 20 minutes so that it dissolves properly
  2. Now we will take the fine flour (Maida) and filter it using sieve and put cardamom powder, coconut powder, raisin in it and mix well
  3. After 20 minutes, we will take the milk and put it slowly in the fine flour (maida) mix and keep stirring. We will ensure that it turns out into a smooth batter, there should be no knots in it. Once done keep it to rest for 30 minutes
  4. In the meantime, take a flat bottom pan and put it on stove. Put the ghee for frying in the pan. We will bring the flame to low once the ghee is heated
  5. After our batter had rested for 30 minutes, using a scoop (kalchi) we will put batter in the hot ghee. Turning it from time to time, we will fry the malpua.
  6. Once the malpuas turn golden brown we will take it out in a plate on a napkin so that extra ghee is absorbed. Our malpuas are now ready to be served.
